Guest
Hi, I have a oscommerce template site that was set up for me by someone who seems to have lost total interest and says they are too busy to do anything further. Im not sure if i need a program on my computer to change things or if they can be changed on the admin page, Im not happy with the colour and something has gone wrong with the privacy policy when you click on it , it comes up with syntax error. There are a few things im wanting to change and add on but have no idea how. Any body able to help? If your in Lincolnshire that would be great but any honest person would be greatly appreciated Thanks Rach www.rachstackstore.com

You can also edit your file and upload it or edit via your control panel. As for the colour that maybe editable in your stylesheet but it depends on whether its a graphic or not. Getting better with mods but no programmer am I.
Xpajun
file_manager.php in the admin of your shop is a known security risk and should be removed asap. your host (people that host your website) should provide a file manager in your cpanel (your website control panel) you can alter your site files here if you wish although it is always best to do alterations on a backed up copy of your store (this way you have a known "clean" working copy of your store should anything go wrong). Regarding your privacy file I suspect that you have a un-escaped ' within your define('TEXT_INFORMATION', 'Put your text here'); - eg you have something like " it's " which should be " it\'s " in other words every ' you have in your text must be written \' except for the 4 shown above in the define My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0 I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 ) I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary
