melrogers Posted February 22, 2003 Posted February 22, 2003 Greetings all. I am running Windows 2000 Professional. I downloaded a copy of PHP Triad and successfully installed all the components. I went to http://localhost/catalog/install/install.php and got the welcome screen to do a new install. I selected the defaults for sections 1 and 2. I think my problem may be in section 3. Here's what I have entered: Database Server: I entered my IP address of 192.168.1.100 User Name: I created a user name of melanie (through phpMyAdmin 2.3.3pl1) Password: entered to correct password Database: called database melanie (again, through phpMyAdmin 2.3.3pl1) Now, I click on Continue, and get a message that says a test connection was successful. Then I click Continue again, and get the following errors...The list is actually much longer, but I just pasted a few. Any ideas on what I could have left out? Thank you so much for your help. Guest Posted February 22, 2003 Posted February 22, 2003 Try changing your database serve to 'localhost' and see if that helps :-) Regards Ed i-netmedia
