Administration Access for oscommerce-2.2rc2a

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to find an Administration Access add-on that will work with oscommerce-2.2rc2a. I've tried the MS version but there were a couple of lines that weren't the same anymore and therefore it didn't work. Basically I'd like to create an administator account that can only add/modify/delete products, nothing else. Anyone have a better add-on?

Thanks,

Paul

That sounds suspiciously like a vendor administration add on. Did you search the contributions for that?

Community Bootstrap Edition, Edge

I'm trying it now, but it still requires Administration Access for oscommerce-2.2rc2a

This can be accomplished by creating a new admin user, then adding code in application_top for allowed pages for that particular user ID (index, login, logoff, categories, specials maybe).

Is much easier than installing a full contribution.

Do you have an example?

I'm still struggling. All I want is to be able to create admin levels. I know it's possible with MC2, so should I consider using that instead of RCa2?
