Auto Refund

Hello,

Does anyone know (or have an idea of where to start) to create a form that refunds payments made via paypal?

 

Basically we are dealing with a downloadable product that if the customer is dissatisfied, they could login, fill out the form with their order number, transaction number, etc. and automatically get their money refunded, no questions asked.

 

I can see how, in most circumstances this would not be desirable (which would explain the lack of info on it), but regardless that's the situation I find myself in.

You can use PayPal's new Adaptive Payments API to do just that: https://www.x.com/docs/DOC-1426

 

I would highly, highly suggest allowing the store owner to manually approve the refunds instead of going with your current plan.
