Paymentmax.com seems to work ok with debit cards

A friend of mine bought one of my boogeeks yesterday and he used a debit card from his Peruvian bank account.

Paymentmax.com, my current payment gateway provider, accepted it like any regular credit card. I knew this could be possible but it's the first time I really test it.

That means that many persons who don't have a credit card could use just a debit card (most savings and checking accounts give you one) to buy from Authorize.net merchants. My friend used a Visa Electron.

Can somebody confirm if other types of debit cards work with Paymentmax.com?
