What is the best/latest shop version to use?

Hi,

 

I am using a late Nov 2002 snapshot with many updates, addons etc.

 

I now need to start another shop and would like to use the latest vers I can get my little hands on!

 

I have 2.2ms1 just downloaded but recall seeing someone on the forum saying they had a another competed version.

 

Maybe a contrib with some of the newer contrib addons but I can't see it.

 

Any advice?
