New with Oscommerce, have a very important question

Good Morning to the Oscommerce Community

 

I am new using Oscommerce and I have to say it is fantastic!! . We have installed it and currently my team is customizing a design for a Flying Lessons E-books store, please take a look at it: http://www.vitwebdevelopments.com/aprendeavolarsinavion/index.php it is in spanish.

 

My question is this:

 

This website will not sell any tangible products, the products are E-books, therefore when a visitor purchases an E-book, he would have to be directed through the payment gateway (this is already happening), then, once the purchase is done, the system should take him to a download section (where the visitor will be able to download this E-book)

 

The final part is what we don't know how to do:

 

How can we customize the Oscommerce in a way that it takes a visitor to download the product he purchased?

 

Do We need to create an external php function that allows this?

 

Please help me with this issue, I would appreciate all the help and comments I can get.
