Guest Posted December 16, 2009 Share Posted December 16, 2009 Hello, i run a online optical site www.valueoptical.co.uk, the problem im having is manually imputing the product attributes, i'd like the prescription information to be the same for each product, CAN ANYONE HELP............. i know there is a cloning option, but im now on my 36000 attribute page, its slowing my system done, not to mention taking me weeks. there must be a simple way of adding this prescription info to all products automaticaly,this infois required for ordering the lenses, so needs to be attached to the product order page. Guest Posted December 16, 2009 Share Posted December 16, 2009 Hi Graham, YES, you site uses tons of attributes !! However, the clone tool is probably the best solution for you to since all of the attributes are the same. There is an option during the contribution installation process to use a MASS attribute clone tool (instead of just one at a time). This would be the best choice for you I think. Also, if your host doesn't have servers fast enough, look for a new host. I was on the site and didn't really notice it being that slow but I use a commercial high speed connection for my business.
