skipunda
Hello all, When updating the status of one of my orders from 'Processing' to 'Sent' I occasionally get an red error message in place of the normal green bar. It is.... "Warning: Nothing to change. The order was not updated" This has only been happening in the last few hours after months of normal activity. Any thoughts from you experts would be very handy! :) Thanks in advance Skip
skipunda
Just to show i'm not just leaching I've dug around a bit. The phrase pops up in one of the admin english files WARNING_ORDER_NOT_UPDATED Searching for this took me unsuprisingly to admin/orders.php. It puts this phrase if $order_updated doesn't equal true. Heres my file up until it puts this message <?php /* $Id: orders.php,v 1.112 2003/06/29 22:50:52 hpdl Exp $ osCommerce, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions http://www.oscommerce.com Copyright (c) 2003 osCommerce Released under the GNU General Public License */ require('includes/application_top.php'); require(DIR_WS_CLASSES . skipunda
Haven't had an occurence of this for 50+ orders now. Could the problems of earlier be caused by something to do with the database connection or an overloaded webserver? If oscommerce can't do anything or times out does it default to this message? Xpajun
It's likely to pop up when you forget to select or miss-select an update eg. on processing update to processing (slip of the cursor) or get engrossed in a comment and forget to update (done both of those very often    ) BTW you can downdate as well as update B) My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0 I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 ) I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary
