Adding Links

I added a new navigation to my store right above the breadcrumbs which are links to other pages in my website, outside the store. When I put the a href="http://www.address.com" it doesnt work. I figure there is some where I have to changes or add something but not sure where. Real new to php but figuring things out slowly. I am using sts 4.5.8 to change things, look, products, etc.

Never mind it is working now not sure why at first it wasnt!!!!! Had to be one of those blonde moments --- sorry if any blondes on here just a saying.........
