Guest
"There has been an error processing your credit card Please try again and if problems persist, please try another payment method." I am using the authorize.net AIM payment module and keep receiving this error when I try and check out. I walked through the setup with authorize.net and all the settings are accurate according to them. I will post anything you would need to diagnose the problem I just need help. I am about ready to rip out my hair here. ***side note, I posted the wrong title for this*** Edited December 14, 2009 by thedoctor213
dedworld
I have the exact same problem. Everything is set up right, but it gives the "There has been an error processing your credit card" message. How frustrating! Authorize.net recieves the approval, yet the customer recieves an error message. We need help! I will keep you posted if I discover a solution. Keep your fingers crossed and keep searching... I found out that even though osc was telling me the card couldn't be authorized, it was in fact charging the card and sending the confirmation from A.net back to osc, however osc was not seeing that it was approved. So the way I got it working was to comment out the MD5 hash verification, even though it was the same code on the module and on A.net it was still keeping it from completing the transaction on the osc end. Once commented out it completes the transaction fine. Hope this helps. Side note, is there even a point in having a forum in such a dead community? Which file did you comment out the MD5 hash verification? Was it authorizenet_cc_aim.php? Thanks for your help, and you're right - there isn't much help out there for us.
