pete2007 Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Hello, At the moment when products stock levels drop to zero the product disappears from our website, until we manually go into admin and switch it back from "Inactive" to "Active" Is it possible to change the settings so when an item goes out of stock it stays "Active" Thanks in advance!
jhande Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Hey Peter, Are you using a template by chance or have you made any edits pertaining to stock coding? I don't remember my osC shop automatically switching zero quantity products to inactive. There has been a couple of discussion just recently about displaying sold out products, they might help. There is a contribution to show sold-out items and it de-activates the buy-now button, you might want to look at that. - :: Jim :: - - My Toolbox ~ Adobe Web Bundle, XAMPP & WinMerge | Install ~ osC v2.3.3.4 -
pete2007 Posted December 13, 2009 Author Posted December 13, 2009 Thanks for the response. Yes I am using a template maybe that's why I am experiencing this problem. I'll take a look to see if I can find a module, thanks again!
jhande Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 You're welcome Peter! Wish I could have been of more help. It might be tricky I think for anyone to figure out where in your template what code is used to switch your products to inactive. BUT I might be wrong. I'm just not very good with PHP and what code/files do what (I'm a slow learner LOL). Good luck! - :: Jim :: - - My Toolbox ~ Adobe Web Bundle, XAMPP & WinMerge | Install ~ osC v2.3.3.4 -
