I would like to add an additional location-checking criteria when calculating the Total Shipping Weight during checkout. The extra criteria checks an additional field 'products_locate' that I added into the 'products_description' table. If the location is 'JP' (i.e. Japan), then add to total shipping weight. Otherwise, do not add to total shipping weight. Can anyone kindly give me guidance on where (which code file) the total shipping weight calculation is performed? If you can also tell me where I can pass the 'products_locate' details into the shipping weight calculation function (wherever that is), I would be tremendously grateful. Any hints will be helpful!
