Phalkan
I have installed v2.2 RC2a on a WAMP (apache 2.2.11, php 5.3.0, mysql 5.1.36) server running Vista home premium. I can login to the administration page and a cookie is posted in my browser and in the sessions table in the database however when I go to the catalog a cookie is not posted to the browser but it is added to the database. Session Directory Force Cookie Use False Check SSL Session ID False Check User Agent False Check IP Address False Prevent Spider Sessions True Recreate Session False Have tried other configurations to no avail. I have tried all the suggestions on the forum of trying different cookie_paths in the configure.php file to no avail. I have compared the includes/application_top.php and the admin/includes/application_top.php files and the includes/classes/sessions.php and admin/includes/classes/sessions.php file and the includes/functions/sessions.php and admin/includes/functions/sessions.php file. Did some tweaking to see how these worked but could not make it work. Any Ideas? Thanks for any help. Phalkan
Phalkan
I found the solution from a post. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/topic/348962-shopping-cart-and-logging-in-users-not-working/page__view__findpost__p__1458210 Downgrade version php 5.3 to 5.2.5. It still doesn't post a cookie to my browser like the admin site does but it works. Yeehaa! Phalkan
