iniquity1978 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Hello, Me and a few friends are starting an online business. I've done the research into payment processors and I found one that works great with os commerce. Now I'm a complete newbie with php and require some basic changes to be made to the way os commerce works in default. What we need it a drop down box where the customer can select a product. Once selected they will click a button to process the order and send out an email saying what was purchased etc. Basically we just need os commerce incorporated into our site and have it basically hidden. We don't want the whole catalog etc. We have a os commerce ready web host. Thank you, P.S. I apologize to forum admins if this post shouldnt be here.

Do you need OSC or do you just need to add code to make a list selectable and take you to a payment processor. Getting better with mods but no programmer am I.
♥geoffreywalton Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 It is an interesting concept but changing the "way" osc works can be very time consuming, if you are going to use osc better to adjust your expectation to work within current functionality and add-ons. MrPhil Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 It sounds more like you're looking to add a PayPal-type "Buy Me Now" button, rather than running a full-fledged shopping cart. Is that what you want -- an "instant purchase" button for single-item purchases?
