Amy Drysdale Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 I have just installed osCommerce and have a number of errors that I don't know how to correct, any help woul be greatly appreciated. The first error "I am able to write to the configuration file: /customers/ucfclan.net/ucfclan.net/httpd.www/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file." We have used our ftp program to change the file to 644 and 444 and still get the error, there is no way to change file permissions on our cpanel (our host pointed us to use an ftp program when we asked about changing file permissions) How can we clear this error? The others are as follows: Warning: session_save_path() [function.session-save-path]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 897003 is not allowed to access /tmp owned by uid 0 in /customers/ucfclan.net/ucfclan.net/httpd.www/catalog/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 169 Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at /customers/ucfclan.net/ucfclan.net/httpd.www/catalog/includes/functions/sessions.php:169) in /customers/ucfclan.net/ucfclan.net/httpd.www/catalog/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 102 Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /customers/ucfclan.net/ucfclan.net/httpd.www/catalog/includes/functions/sessions.php:169) in /customers/ucfclan.net/ucfclan.net/httpd.www/catalog/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 102 Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in /customers/ucfclan.net/ucfclan.net/httpd.www/catalog/includes/classes/language.php on line 87
web-project Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Warning: session_save_path() [function.session-save-path]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 897003 is not allowed to access /tmp owned by uid 0 in /customers/ucfclan.net/ucfclan.net/httpd.www/catalog/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 169 you need to create the /tmp folder in catalogue folder and point the oscommerce via oscommerce admin panel to use your tmp folder. Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
