Hi there

I am currently evaluating ecommerce apps according to site requirements, and I need to be able to have items which become free after an order reaches a certain amount, for given logins.

eg: A company has resellers. Resellers will have different price listings from public purchasers. If a reseller has an order for over $x, they are entitled to a free gift. They can then select this free gift from a given range. This feature should not be available to public purchasers.

Is this possible with OSCommerce??

Thanks

Hi Tracey,

I personally don't know of such a contribution. You can achieve Price levels with the installation of the SPPC contribution, (retail/wholesale/Other) but the give away section eludes me.

Well, there's also the Hide products from customer groups for SPPC contribution, if your free range is only available to resellers maybe you could use that and SPPC - just so long as your retail customers don't also need to be able to buy the things that are free to resellers?

www.jyoshna.com. Currently using OsC with STS, Super Download Store, Categories Descriptons, Manufacturers Description, Individual Item Status, Infopages unlimited, Product Sort, Osplayer with flashmp3player, Product Tabs 2.1 with WebFx Tabpane and other bits and pieces including some I made myself. Many thanks to all whose contributions I have used!
