myskincare
Hello...I am trying to get my website PCI DSS Compliant and it's been nothing more than a nightmare, this is my last hope before moving to a different shopping cart. my web site is www.allskintypes.co.uk and are using OS Version 2.2ra and PayPal PRO UK (am working on SSL Certificate should be ok by Wednesday/Thursday). 1. Can the officals from OS Commerce say if OS is PCI compliant, if not would it be ready in time (before Jan 2010)? 2. What do I need to do to make my web site PCI compliant (I have been working with PayPal and Cardinal Commerce) BUT again everybody is stock and are waiting on OS People to do their thing. This is most fustrating for a small business, I would appreciate if someone from OC Commerce say what's going on or at least advise. thanks Derek

spooks
Hi not quite sure how is this related to my site being PCI Compliant...are you saying I have to get Security Add ons? The PCI complience test basically tests your site to see if there are any security holes (ie its hackable) that would compromise your customers data. Therefore adding the security detailed ensures you wont have any holes, so will pass (baring issues caused by a leaky add-on). What did you think PCI complience was about? PS even if your not going for PCI you need to add the security, as getting hacked is a major headach & you may be breaking the law (failing to secure customers data) Quote Sam Remember, What you think I ment may not be what I thought I ment when I said it.
