PHP reference book

Hi all

 

I have enjoyed getting my online shop using oscommerce up and running, however, there are obviously a lot of things that I dont know and would like to learn.

 

Is there any particular book(s) that the more experienced members here would recommend for a person who knows little of php?

They have an excellent on-line PHP tutorial with accompanying "try it" edit screens that are just great.

 

Go through the HMTL and especially the CSS tutorials as well.

 

You will also need to learn MYSQL to get much out of PHP. Here is a good concise introduction:

finally, go on to your website control panel and explore phpMyAdmin.
