jgessentials
Hi group I am having some issues with the ups shipping module. I added the weight for each product in pounds although there is nowhere to define (pounds or ounces) in the store. When using the UPS shipping the costs are crazy $16 for ground for a 0.2pounds package. problem #2 I want to also offer USPS rates. I added the contrib and configured it with my USPS ID and password I get the following: "An error occured with the USPS shipping calculations. If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner." Any idea what the issue might be? Thank you

Thank you If you have not done so, contact USPS at [email protected] and get information of getting your ShippingAPI registration done. They will walk you through the process form there. If you don't pester them with questions almost daily, it will take MONTHS like it did me, but it shouldn't take more than a few days. As for your UPS shipping module, any idea where I can get that? If not, then you have missed a step somewhere. I would send an email to that address I sent and ask for directions. They are very good at responding, although sometimes it takes a while. You just need to test the API module they have by logging on to a site they set up special for your login. Once that testing is complete they send a message approving your participation. I wish I had kept the emails, of which there were about TEN because I kept getting confused. I found a copy of the UPS module. Now all I have to do is try and get it installed. I followed all your instructions to the letter...still not working. USPS keeps telling me that everything is in place on THEIR end and that I should contact my third party provider. I read a while back that osc had a NEW USPS module, but no one said where to get it. Any help with that? Thanks Edited February 18, 2010 by ifs
