Need a little help with install error

Installed a fresh copy of oscommerce using xampp and am getting these errors.

 

Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in C:\Server\xampp\htdocs\catalog\includes\classes\language.php on line 87

on the top of the webpage but the store seems to be functioning fine.

 

Admin section is getting these errors

Found the problem after doing another google search. Must be to late to be doing this stuff. For others that may come across this here is the solution
