shopgrl
Help! I am finding the users shopping cart in the Who's Online section of Tools filling up with products all by itself. The Users Shopping Cart shows hundreds of products being added, but there are no customers online. It seems to be doing it by itself. How do you empty the cart? Why is it doing that? I would suspect its the search engines as you have failed to stop them getting a session, enable Prevent Spider Sessions and update spiders.txt http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/2455 This may help you understand: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=330479&hl Sam Remember, What you think I ment may not be what I thought I ment when I said it. The last spiders.txt was from 12/08 and I had the oscommerce cart installed this year. Do I still need to up date the spiders.txt. Also, should I enable the recreate sessions in the sessions section of admin? Thank you for your help. Jeanne (shopgrl)

Jeanne (shopgrl) Yes, update spiders.txt ti the latest, & yes if the engines have the sid in the links u must use recreate sessions, see also details in the other thread i linked on a issue with the recreate. Hi spooks, Do I add the spiders listed in the updated text to the current spiders.txt file? I assume if there are any duplicates, only one should be included in the list. Thank you. shopgrl
