When I upload with my FTP I get this error sometimes...."550 catalog/includes/configure.php: permission denied"

 

What does this mean and how csn I fix it?

If you didn't make any changes to the file it doesn't matter.

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.

I changed the permission to 777 and it worked

Folder permissons 755

 

File permissions 644

 

Pre-install: 2 configure.php files 644

Post install: 2 configure.php files 444 or 400

 

If you need to make changes to either configure.php file post install, change the permission to 644, make your changes, and then set it back to 444 or 400.
