jeema Posted November 28, 2009 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Hi, I am new to osCommerce. I installed the version 3.0a5 in my linux server. The installation went fine. While installing I also selected the "Sample Data". The sample data comes with the categories "Books", "Gadgets" and "Merchandise". I tried to view those categories in the admin side. Guest Posted November 28, 2009 Share Posted November 28, 2009 I am not sure why you would experience the problem of not seeing the category list after installation, however V3.0 ALPHA 5 is for developers and programmers only and should not be used for your live shop at this time. There will be many changes to the code before a working cart is released.
