I just got back from a reading he did here in Chicago to promote his new book Pattern Recognition. It was great to hear him speak about his work. I would recommend his books to anyone if you want to take a break from coding and read some fiction. I got my copy signed and tried not to think about the 1st Edition Neuromancer that I let go by a couple years ago. As an book collector and a science fiction fan, I should have known better!
