elaineella61 Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Hi I am desperate to find out what I have done. Ages ago I added a header/metatags contribution, a few weeks ago I tried to install ultimate seo urls by chemo. I managed to install it ok on one of my sites, but that only has a couple of add ons. When I tried adding ultimate seo urls I had a massive error and decided not to continue installing on the first php file I tried, anyway....a few hour later in my admin in configuration I found this, I have no idea how long it has been in there :o): Enable SEO URLs? true Add category parent to product URLs? true Add category parent to begining of URLs? true Filter Short Words 3 Output W3C valid URLs (parameter string)? true Enable SEO cache to save queries? true Enable product cache? true Enable categories cache? true Enable manufacturers cache? true Enable articles cache? true Enable topics cache? true Enable information cache? true Enable link directory cache? true Enable automatic redirects? true Enable use Header Tags as name? false Choose URL Rewrite Type Rewrite Enter special character conversions Remove all non-alphanumeric characters? false Reset SEO URLs Cache Uninstall Ultimate SEO So I assumed I had already installed it sometime or other.....but when I checked chemos instructions non of my files contained the code he supplies and non of the php files that come with the add on were uploaded to my site. So I wonder how I have ended up with it...lol Is there another contribution I could have added to give the above table or did it come with the header tags contribution, or have I started it and not finished it? If so can some one help me by telling me which one it is as I want to add Chemos Ultimate seo urls....it is driving me nuts, because the above does not work and my site is growing so well at the moment and want to get this sorted as soon as I can. Thanks in advance Cheers Elaone
phour19 Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Looks like Chemo's Ultimate SEO to me. I have those same setting in my admin. Looks also like you have started it and not finished it. Tim How to secure your site. A must read
elaineella61 Posted November 27, 2009 Author Posted November 27, 2009 Hi Tim Thanks for your reply, thats what I thought so I thought I would start at the beginning and work through, but even the first lot of code for the first php file is not there...also the seo.class and reset_seo_cache files have not been uploaded, unless I have been trying to add on an earlier version....argh!! I will just have to have another dig about, also something else happened along the way somewhere....my shop is mysite.com/catalog I used to have a link in the breadcrumb taking me back to mysite.com but that has disappeared, do you have any idea how I can put it back in Thanks Elaine
