multimixer
You have no index file in your root (mydomain.com) and your store is installed in folder catalog (mydomain.com/catalog). Thats the way you installed it. Now you have 2 options 1) Place an index.html file to your root that will appear when you type mydomain.com. From there you can have a link to your store 2) Move (or reinstall) your store to the root. To do this, move all CONTENTS (files and folders) of folder catalog to your root. You need to change the paths n the 2 configure.php files (includes/ and admin/includes/) too. If you want to reinstall, just do dot upload the folder catalog to your root, but just it's contents (files and folders) and run the installation again My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel

Nobody cares where you have the stuff stored on your computer, because nobody can see your computer. So you can have the files in your pictures or your music or wherever you like. I'm talking about the server, thats the "computer" that people access when viewing your pages, it's your hosts "computer" and you go there via cpanel My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
