Rodland
I and another have been having real problems with this so hopefully someone can help: I already have a shop with a card swipe system so don't need any other payment module apart from having the credit cards sent to me encrypted or safely stored on the admin pages. Do I download a package for this from the contributions pages of the osCommerce site or is it already part of the 2.2 system I have downloaded?? Of the two options above how on earth do I test these pages? Which files are they? Christian

CC
Well I dont use this but last time I tested it on my Dec snapshot, when you enable CC payment module in admin, and someone checks out it shows you the card numbers with the middle 8 digits XXX'd out on the order page in admin, then it sends the middle 8 digits only on an email. Obviously this is not encrypted, but it is sort of secure as the numbers never meet and are never stored together in the same place. Other than this you will need to install the GPG mod found in contributions and run this for encrypted emails. You will need to make sure your hosts support this tho. And it is not an easy install either! Quite complicated to get right if you have never done it before. You will also need shell access. HTH CC. Rodland
Thanks... But I have enabled it in the payment modules of the admin pages. I have also put ssl to false so I can test it on my system - but I can't progress to the checkout pages beyond Delivery Information. I need to see what the other pages look like: Delivery Information -- Payment Information -- Confirmation -- Finished! I need to be able to see, test, and configure these. Why can't I do this??
