stabes
I have zero knowledge of PHP and of PHPMyAdmin, so I'm sure this will be a tricky road :-) I have installed a new OSC on my server with ease. Obviously the structure of the DB used in ver 1.264 is somewhat different to the DB used in the latest version of OSC. I need advice on the best way of migrating the data in the DB of the old installation to the new one. There's many thousands of records - I don't want to have to start over :-( Mart

MrPhil
Determining your osC version: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=283185&hl= Is "1.264" the phpMyAdmin version? That's still pretty old (current is 2.11 or higher), and has nothing to do with osC anyway. MySQL is 4+ and PHP is 4.4+, so it's probably not either of those.
