janim4 Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Hi I have searched the forums and not found a solution to this problem which is the inability to back up the database from admin tools. When I attempt a backup I receive a message saying the backup is successful but no file is created and no filename is returned to the screen. When I attempt a backup to download to my pc I receive an empty file. The database can be accessed via OSCommerce for all other operations. I am running V2.2 rc2. Any pointers gratefully received. spooks Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 The default tool is bugged, you should replace it, if you use AutoBackup Database in Admin http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/2314 its setup routine will check your setup is correct, also add Database backup manager http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5769 for general backup operations, you may also find Backup of all store files in zip format http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6986 useful.
