OmarSule Posted November 20, 2009 Share Posted November 20, 2009 Hi, I just installed a template contribution and I was able to transfer all of the files except for the configure.php file. Why is this? Also Im getting this error => TEP ERROR! (tep_display_banner(static, 3) -> Banner with ID '3' not found, or status inactive....does this have anything to do with the configure.php file I cant transfer? I'm a pure newbie in all of this so any help would be appreciated.. Guest Posted November 21, 2009 Share Posted November 21, 2009 Omar, If your configure.php file permission is currently 444, you can't over-write it using your ftp. RENAME the current configure.php file to configure1.php and THEN upload the new configure.php file. MAKE SURE hte new configure.php file is correct before you do this.
