Ben Nevis Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Product Attributes are used to specify options for products, including price differentials from the base product. www.jyoshna.com. Currently using OsC with STS, Super Download Store, Categories Descriptons, Manufacturers Description, Individual Item Status, Infopages unlimited, Product Sort, Osplayer with flashmp3player, Product Tabs 2.1 with WebFx Tabpane and other bits and pieces including some I made myself. Many thanks to all whose contributions I have used!

westmidsguy Posted November 22, 2009 Author Posted November 22, 2009 Okay I have logged into product attributes and see product options it says size but how do i configure this? thanks
Ben Nevis Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Something tells me you aren't really trying here. If you've found the product options then you should see little buttons on the page with fairly self-explanatory lables, you can create/edit/delete option names such as 'size' and option values such as the particular sizes you want, and then assign those options to your products including putting in price differentials such as '+' a certain amount for different options, all from that page. Just try to figure things out by reading the information presented to you on the screen - follow through the menu options on the admin page, read the hints, prompts, explanations and labels on the buttons for the various modules that make osc work. Or look through the knowledge base, screen shots may not look exactly like your installation but the explanations of what modules do and how to use them should help http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/Administration_Tool/Catalog/152 www.jyoshna.com.
