Not sure which version it refers to, but I have MS2.2 and RC2a shops. None of them have this option. The text can be changed but as long as you always use the same unit, one is one and two is two. Tim

Tim Thankyou, it would be easier if i had this option! How do i know whether my site is under pounds or kilos? I've been through some of my php files but have not been able to locate this information. I really need my postage weight to be set under grams/kilos.

I forget where to change the text, probably in one of the language files, but like I said, one is one and two is two. As long as you always use the same base, your weights will be correct. My site uses ounces. so one is one ounce and 16 is 16 ounces. Tim

Tim I checked under the languages still couldn't see anything so maybe you're right,if i always use the same base it should be ok, which it is. just thought there may have been a way that i needed to change it. It would be good if i had that default shipping unit just to change things around if needed as i'm setting up my postage as per item. Thanks for your help!

I found one reference to a weight unit in includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/zones.php But again, this is just for humans to read. If you find a weight unit displayed on your site, you can change it in the appropriate file, but it won't change the way shipping is calculated. one is one and two is two You have to use the same unit of measure for every item. If you choose to use ounces then you must enter a one pound item as 16. Tim
