Credit Card Payment

How do I make sure that there is a box where customers can enter in their security code on their credit cards? As of now, the only options we have are:

Card Owner

Card Number

Expiration Date

I would also like to add the security code option.

Any help is very much appreciated!!!

You're not using the sample Credit Card processing module that comes with osC, are you? I've heard a lot of recommendations not to use it, but I'm not sure what to use instead if you have a merchant account and payment gateway. Maybe someone who directly handles credit cards, rather than using a third party system like PayPal, can address this point?

We use linkpoint, and the add on for them has the box for CVV already implemented. I would assume this is the case for other mods like authorize.net and so forth.

There are contributions that will add the input box to your site, but storing this number is not allowed. So if you have a gateway and processor, these mods would need further work to communicate the data to your processor.

MrPhil,

We probably are using the one that came with it. I wouldn't be surprised. Our old developer really messed things up pretty bad, and I'm going in here with my very limited knowledge and NO training trying to find the problems to everything. I'm glad we're not using him anymore.

So we use Pair Networks and you're saying that I would need a mod to alter it?

Sorry if I sound ignorant. I am.

Thanks guys!
