ALBATIM Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Hi, Hopefully someone can help me here please. All appears to be set up correctly but when an order goes through to PayPal the following error message is generated by PayPal: "Unable to process payment. Please contact the merchant as the shipping address provided by the merchant is invalid, and the merchant has requested that your order must be shipped to that address.! Where should I start looking?? Cheers Tim Quote
ALBATIM Posted November 18, 2009 Author Posted November 18, 2009 (edited) Sorry, I should have added that this is only effecting orders placed by US customers, UK orders are processed as expected. Edited November 18, 2009 by ALBATIM Quote

SpeedOS Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I had the same problem. In my situation, the default setup for the shopping cart did not require a new user to enter their state (this is a USA setup). When I changed this, new users then entered their state of residence when they setup their account in oscommerce. For some reason, this eventually made the PayPal folks happy. The setting for this is not in the PayPal setup. I am using version 2.2RC2. In this version, the setting can be found by logging in to admin and: Configuration->Customer Details Set 'State' to true. It worked for me. Hope it works for you. Quote
