products_price type change

Hello, I would like to to make possible change the products_price field currently as: decimal(15,4)

 

I would like to change it to: text

 

I am in phpMyAdmin, if I change it there, how can it affect my whole store? do I have to change somewhere else besides there?

Yes, you'll need to change the code in several different places. This will be a lot of work.

 

Why do you want to change this? There may be a better way to get the result you want.
