Help, New User...

Hi Guys,

i've just taken over running of an online shop using osCommerce (mustangmaniac.co.uk).

I havent had too much trouble getting to grips with the basic running of the shop,

but i do need some more help, i was wondering if there was any new user guides or walkthroughs to help me tackle the admin side of things.

Some of the codes are confusing me, as i have no clue what they mean or do...

I need to change our postage to a flat rate which i dont how to do and dont want to mess up the current postage settings in the process, incase the flat rate doesn't work...

 

anyways...

any help/advice will be appreciated

Download a copy of the installation you have running, and in the folder there will be some docs (although they are not stellar).

For what you are trying to do, go to Modules > Shipping. Then select Flat Rate and click install to the right. Then go add stuff to a shopping cart and try to checkout to make sure it works the way you would like. If it does go back to the shipping modules, click the table rate, and then click the remove button.
