Ben Nevis
There's a support thread for how to use osC's built in download facility here. Personal I prefer to use Super Download Store, an add on contribution that improves on this facility (see my sig). Note that neither method will provide the customer with a download link in an email. They have to be in their account to get the links, either when purchase completes if you set it up to make them available immediately on purchase, or logging in and viewing their order details after you have manually set the order status to make downloads available. www.jyoshna.com. Currently using OsC with STS, Super Download Store, Categories Descriptons, Manufacturers Description, Individual Item Status, Infopages unlimited, Product Sort, Osplayer with flashmp3player, Product Tabs 2.1 with WebFx Tabpane and other bits and pieces including some I made myself. Many thanks to all whose contributions I have used!
eshban
thanks ben Nevis I have checked your store, i need the same requirement like to sale mp3 tracks. I am trying to integrate it into fresh copy, but i am facing problems. Can you please add one track and apply the all process to a fresh oscommerce store? As you have already did, you will do it quickly. Looking for your reply soon.
Ben Nevis
Eshban, you won't be able to tell how osC works with downloads by looking at my store. Super Download Store is an add on contribution that does its stuff behind the scenes. It is not a difficult contribution to add, especially on a fresh store. If you read the installation and usage instructions for it, and also the other support topic I referred you to, you will get some idea about how to make downloads work, and if you have further questions as you try to set things up you can come back here and ask. www.jyoshna.com. ricksteruk2005
Super download shop is the way to go. This will also remove the security flaw with downloads in OSC and Paypal etc. Setting it up is easy if you follow the instructions contained within the contribution I dont help with templates (thats what the seller is for) th search function will often help, when it dont try this in google. site:http://www.oscommerce.com/forums then your search word

Either follow the instructions in this thread: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=236224, or better, download and install Super Download Shop following the installation instructions and usage guide included in that package. If there something you do not understand in the instructions for either method, you can ask for further explanation in the relevant support thread - either the thread I have just linked, or the support thread for SDS if you use that. Just say where you got stuck in the process of following the instructions, because what you say above doesn't really give any clue about what you've already done. www.jyoshna.com.
