Products coming up not found... Refresh then found..

Having some issues... I had to rebuild my store and now that all my products have different urls... It seems that the store is still looking for the old urls or is just confused..

Sometimes when you click on a product you will get product not found if you go back and click on it again it works fine... Hope this makes sense...

The database now has new product IDs some parts of your store is using the old product IDs...

 

 

You either have to change the new to match the old or the old to match the new - change whichever you have less of and you'll have to do it in the database (but it will be quicker once you get the hang of it.

 

You'll have to make a list of what isn't working right before starting

 

 

Of course if you have a database back up of before you did your rebuild you could utilize that

If you have "Use Cache" set to true in the admin the site may be sending the wrong links.

 

Somewhere in the admin is a place to reset the cache.

 

If you are using any SEO URL contrib., it probably has a cache reset, too.

Update.. Still fighting this issue... Systme Cache is turned off set to (false)

Here is what I found..

 

My oscommerce store is creating this url structure..

 

http://www.carstickersdecals.com/deer-family-sticker-242?osCsid.html

 

For some reason is adding the ?osCsid randomly...

 

remove this and everything works... Or even refresh the page and then click the link works fine...

My reason for not doing so is because I truely don't know what is causing the issue.. If I did then I would post appropriately..

If you didn't have the addon there wouldn't be an issue.
