Drop Shipped orders from Front Admin Page

Ok so you log into the admin site and are greeted with the list of customers and orders. I intend to remove the list of customers but on the orders is there away that once an order status is set to shipped it won't appear there? Also I do want the order to appear is I go to Customers --> Orders on the left menu.
