Including.pdf files in my product specifications & tracking conversions with Google Analytics

Hello,

I have an OsC store running with STS. I was able to make Google Analytics work, for the most part, by installing code within my footer template. I installed additional code into the checkout_success.php file. However, Google Analytics does not seem to be tracking conversions. Should I have installed that second bit of code into one of my templates instead?

Also, I would like to include a link (at the end of some of my product specifications) to a .pdf file which includes additional photos and information about the item. My question is: Where do I upload the .pdf file so that the customer has access to that product information when they click on the link? An example of an item page I am needing help with is here: http://lisasstitchingpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=3_10_56&products_id=296. Where it says, "Click here for pattern back," I want the customer to be able to view a .pdf I have uploaded.

I would appreciate any suggestions any of you can offer to either of the above problems.

Thank you in advance!

Lisa
