I am with Powweb Hosting and for some reason my sql queries are reaching the allowed max 75,000 in 1 hour which has a result of slowing down page loads to the point of, if "I was a visitor I would look else where as this site is to slow" The hosting is shared hosting. and my unique hits per day are not all that brilliant What I would like to do is try and reduce unnecessary queries to see if this would help or is this an outside influence I.E. search engines crawls. If anyone has any idea or information on the help I need I would be very appreciated. Best Regards Liam

Best Regards Liam I had a similar problem you could ask your host as to what is making all the requests I did this and was told it was the who's online function in my case I removed it and no more problems.

I have implemented the Three major changes and added the page cache and that has made a great difference but still need to disable a few more redundant queries that I am not using I.E. stat Counter. who's online and what's new.
