Downloaded OsCommerce last night to my iPower control panel. All looks good but, when I attempt to click on the "LOGIN" or "MANAGE" buttons to enter OsCommerce, it kicks me to a page that says: "SITE NOT PUBLISHED" "This site you are looking for has not been published. If you are the owner of the site, you can fix this message by republishing your site."

Meanwhile, I've republished my site multiple times, closed, reopened new browsers, etc. and I'm still unable to access the OsCommerce areas for my site.

Even went to the trouble of UNINSTALLING and REINSTALLING OsCommerce -- still no luck.

I've performed searches on the forum but to my surprise, am not seeing anything on this issue.

Hope to get a solution soon as I've heard good things about OsCommerce - but this is frustrating to say the least as a 'first experience'...

Hope you can help! Thanks! Chris

I havent used I power control panel so havent a clue how it works with respect to publishing OSC.

What steps did you go through to get OSC installed? this may actually help identify if a step hasn't been done or an error made.

Getting better with mods but no programmer am I.

THANKS SOOO MUCH for attempting to assist! I have spent the day trying to find another option -- thinking I wasnt going to get any help...

It was actually EXTREMELY simple.... There's a list of shopping cart options you can download within the "Install Central" area of the Control Panel.

Simply click on the OsCommerce icon, (the status displays - downloading now) -- then, it returned a message along the lines of " OsCommerce has been successfully installed!"

Then, I went to the main install list on my control panel, it shows the line item for OsCommerce and 2 buttons are avail:

"ADMIN LOGIN" and "MANAGE"

When I click "ADMIN LOGIN" - I get thrown to that nice blue page displaying the message noted in my first post.

When I click the "MANAGE" button, I am taken to a page that simply displays "Instance Info" (as shown below)

When I click on the LOCATION or ADMIN links - it again -- throws me to the page that says that the site has not been published and if I am the admin, then simply re-publish the site to correct the issue. (I've republished and tried everything I can think to do -- but still -- not able to get access into my oscommerce areas...)

Note, I've replaced the real content with "x's" below....

I hope you or someone can help!

Instance Information Version: 2.2rc2a Location: http://brooklynvictoria.com/oscommerce/ Admin: http://brooklynvictoria.com/oscommerce/admin/ Database: skeeder_IC_xxxxxxxx_xxxxxx Database User: skeeder_app osCommerce Website: http://oscommerce.com/ I previously had downloaded ZENcart to my dashboard, it worked fine -- but was taking too much time to set up --

I was looking for a quick method of getting a list of products uploaded (via an Excel spreadsheet) and on the market --

I'd been told, osCommerce would allow this -- and was fast/easy to use....

Meanwhile, I've got approx 200 items waiting to get uploaded....
