How many customers and transactions can you have in a 100mb MySQL database?

 

Is there any info on capacity planning for OSCommerce?

Hi Bob,

 

 

I have never heard of a maximum capacity for SQL databases. I know most hosts set a maximum number of Databases allowed but have never heard of maximum database size.

 

Anyway, to give you a basic idea. I have a client with a current database containing just over 5000 products and has approx. 2800 registered customers. The SQL database size for that client is around 15.4mb. That site has been operational for around 3 years now.
