paps_v1.0_osc installation

Hello there,

 

am new in OSC and poor in database and trying to use(install) paps_v1.0_osc addon on my project. This addon package comes with installation guide though am not sure what this step means:

 

"Backup your database, and then run the code in the file sql/paps_v1.0.sql using your favorite database interface program. REMEMBER: if you are using prefixes for your database tables you need to add the prefix to the table names in the SQL file before you run the SQL commands."

 

 

Please help me out!!!

You would use cpanel make a database backup if you cant use phpmyadmin on cpanel click on the stores database now click on export tab tick save as file and click go backup done

 

now using phpmyadmin click on sql tab copy and paste from the paps_v1.0.sql file into the text area and click go sql run
