hostingclick Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Hello Everyone, My oscommerce site went down a few weeks ago because i changed the domain on my hosting from name1.com to name2.com and the database went all messed up. I had a good idea of uploading install folder again and running over the setup. I created a new user for the database in myphpadmin as i forgot the old password to the other user which shouldnt be a problem. I ran over the setup and my site came back up working fine but........ all the products have gone. Now i can properly get a backup of the site from a few days ago when it wasnt working but the database would have been there. What am asking really is have i lost all my products? Because i have not deleted any files and the database in cpanel still says 0.99mb which means the database is still big but i dont know how to get my products back? Hope you can all help. Thank You Dave

Thank You Dave your products should still be there. if you can access your database (via phpmyadmin), go to the products table and then click the browse tab to see if your products are still there.
