How do I make my website wider?

Hi

 

I just noticed that my website is very narrow. I looked at it on a friend's computer whose screen is much bigger than mine. It is centered alright but on the much bigger screen there is a lot of empty space to the left and right of my page. How do I fix it to when someone using a bigger screen doesn't see lots of empty space on both sides? Thanks

It depends on how it has been centred, this is normally be set in your stylesheet.css

There are various ways to get a fixed width, ie you can have a table starting in header.php that has a fixed width, or you can have something like a "container" div where the width is defined in css, or, if you use STS, the width can be defined in the template you use etc.
