Fatal error, php dummy needs help!

Today I have been installing new bits and bobs, namely 'Product Listing Enhancements, Thumbnails & Manufacturer Headings V2.0' which went perfectly fine and was configuring my site perfectly well and was looking good.

Then I installed 'Category_Images_Box_1.2.1', all the back end admin stuff to configure the bits I needed appeared so I thought it had installed it properly. But when I went to my shop, I encountered the following error, now I can kind of read php but def. do not know how to figure out problems, hence why I am turning to the forum, hopefully someone can help me figure this out?

Fatal error: Call to a member function add_current_page() on a non-object in /htdocs/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 314

I can roll back most of the code so not too disasterous, but to not have to do that would be helpful!!

Here is the code from the file, if anyone could help figure this out I would be very very grateful, and anything else I need to post I can do.
