Downloadable Products

I have been searching many hours on OSCommerce, Google, & Yahoo.

 

I cannot find anything that will allow you to sell a downloadable product that will remove it after a successful download or at an expiration of a time period.

 

I would like to be able to allow a person to download a file exactly one time. If it fails, the system should keep it queued. If it is successful, it should remove it from the queue.

 

This seems like a simple request and there has to be a simple way for the downloader program to realize if the download was successful or not.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

With osC you can certainly set a download limit of 1 and an expiry after a specified number of days which you can choose, but, without knowing a great deal about it, I very much doubt there is any way the server can know whether the client successfully got their complete download after it started or not.
