dtrain Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Hi, I'm trying to create a page that has a few text fields for an input of letters, and under each of these letters is a drop down menu where customers can choose colours. There is eight of these and after all of the selections made i would like to output what the customer chooses to the cart. Eg: Letter Chosen 'A' in red ($8) Letter Chosen 'D' in black ($7) Letter Chosen 'A' in black ($7) Letter Chosen 'M' in black ($7) Cost : $29 Once this is sent to the cart the customer can then order their personalised product. Is there an addon that can do this, or does oscommerce only allow individual items to be added separately to the cart. Please help as I'm lost? A page example of what I'm trying to do is here. Thanks, Dallas

dtrain Posted November 9, 2009 Author Posted November 9, 2009 Take a look at "option types v2" in the addons section Isn't this more for uploads of items rather than choosing different types of products? I'm a little confused as I'm new to this sort of thing, first website I'm trying to design for my boss... Did you get an idea of what I wanted from my link? Or do I need to clarify it more?
multimixer Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Yes it's clear what you try to do, even if I don't know how you will do the combinations: anythingA X anythingB or something else? Option types contribution has a feature called "images as options" If you have ie red green blue, by choosing the option, the image with red content will appear. All images preload when page loads, but are hidden by css. You can change this to have them all on your page Also radio buttons and checkboxes available My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
